What Are All-on-X Dental Implants?

All-on-X dental implants are a fixed full-arch solution that can replace a complete set of upper or lower teeth using just 4–6 dental implants.

The implants act like artificial roots and support a custom-made bridge of teeth, giving you a secure, long-lasting smile that looks and feels very similar to natural teeth.

This approach is sometimes called All-on-4, All-on-6 or “teeth in a day”, depending on how many implants are placed and whether a fixed temporary bridge is fitted on the same day as surgery.

Comprehensive Consultation & 3D Scan
We examine your teeth and gums, take photographs and a 3D scan (CBCT) to assess your jaw bone and plan the exact position of each implant.
We’ll discuss your medical history, smile goals and any alternative options so you can make an informed decision.
Treatment Planning & Smile Design
Using the scan and digital planning software, we design the angle and position of each implant and the shape, length and colour of your new teeth.
You’ll see a proposed outcome and we’ll talk through timings, costs and finance options before you commit.
Implant Placement Day (“Teeth in a Day” where suitable)
On the day of surgery, we place 4–6 implants in the jaw, usually under local anaesthetic with the option of sedation for nervous patients.
In many cases, we can fit a fixed temporary bridge on the same day, so you do not leave with gaps or a removable denture.
Healing & Osseointegration
Over the next 3–5 months, the implants fuse with the surrounding bone in a process called osseointegration.
